People intending to travel to Iceland over the coming days are being warned that a volcano there could erupt at any time.
Local authorities say that the Fagradalsfjall volcano, on the island’s south west Reykjanes Peninsula, could erupt without notice.
There have been no fewer than 600 earthquakes registered in the area over the past 48h.
