People intending to use Dublin Airport over the coming weeks have been warned that queues are likely to get worse in the run-up to Easter and summer holidays.

Dublin Airport has seen massively long queues in recent weeks due to staffing and general mismanagement, leading to frustration and dozens of missed flights.

People are now being advised to be at the airport at least 3.5h before their scheduled departure time and hope for the best, or fly from Cork or Shannon instead, if possible.
