The Government is reportedly considering automatic enrollment into a pension scheme for hundreds of thousands of workers without one.
If the plan goes ahead, the Government would pay €1 for every €3 that the employee pays into the scheme.
The scheme would affect up to 750,000 people aged between 23 and 60 and earning over €20,000.
