Over 6,000 vehicles took part in a demonstration against rising insurance premiums, which some drivers have seen rise by over 60% in the last three years.
The demonstration is just coming to its end in Merrion Sq this afternoon. It started just after midday and traffic came to a standstill in City centre as a result.
Social media has seen many online petitions for car insurance to be lowered.
