People aged 40 or under will be offered an alternative to the AstraZeneca vaccine in the UK due to ongoing concerns about blood clots.
The jab has been linked to deadly blood clotting events worldwide.
Denmark has banned both the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines for this very reason, but both are still inexplicably being freely administered here in Ireland.
