Internationally known Podcast host, MMA expert and commentator and comedian Joe Rogan has once again provoked the ire of the political and media establishment and the usual Twitter mob after he suggested that social media was censoring people talking about treatments for Covid-19.
On his podcast on May 4th, Rogan said that he had attempted to send a video on Ivermectin, which along with Hydroxychloroquine, has been touted as one of the potential treatments for Covid-19 and alternatives to the mRNA vaccine.
Rogan had said he was stopped from sending a private message on Twitter with a video talking about the benefits of Ivermectin and suggested that Big Tech is engaging in this censorship as Big Pharma wants to maximise its profits by pushing the Covid-19 vaccine.
Rogan was just moving on from controversial comments on his Spotify podcast he made while talking to comedian Dave Smith saying, “for the most part”, it’s safe to get vaccinated, but went on to add
“If you’re like 21 years old, and you say to me, should I get vaccinated? I’ll go ‘no’. Are you healthy? Are you a healthy person?
“If you’re a healthy person, and you’re exercising all the time, and you’re young, and you’re eating well, like, I don’t think you need to worry about this.”
Later on, in the discussion Rogan referenced the small number of children who had died with Covid-19 but said “We’re talking about something that is not statistically dangerous for children. But yet people still want you to get your child vaccinated, which is crazy to me.”
This is not the first time Rogan has courted controversy have people such as Alex Jones and Stefan Molyneaux on his podcast has led the usual “woke” brigade calling for him to be cancelled while he has long been sneered at by mainstream media commentators for his refusal to tow establishment narratives on things ranging from Aliens to the accepted liberal worldview.
