People will have the option of working from home and will get tax aids, claims Varadkar

It’s strange seeing more traffic around Dublin’s city centre and all the cities, towns and villages around the country, but it’s a welcome change.

Finally, it appears Ireland truly is coming out of the pandemic – but many people have become quite comfortable living at home and enjoying the lack of commute.

The Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has said that he wants to see as many people as possible to be able to work from home and to take advantage of it.

Varadkar said that poeple working from home may incur extra costs, for example a utility bills and said that the government will aim to defray such bills against tax in next month’s budget.

Fine Gael’s leader said that there is already legislation in place for such practice but that it hasn’t been updated in many years and that they’ll be renewed in next month’s budget.
