Irish Rail have confirmed that a person has been rushed to hospital after being struck by a train this afternoon.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, the incident occurred near Killester Staines at approximately 12:50pm.
It is understood that a number of services had been suspended between Raheny and Connolly Station but Irish Rail have confirmed that services have since resumed.
