Petrified Taoiseach? Garda Security Review to take place after some Convention Centre protesters got close to Michael Martin in his car and shouted at him

The scenes outside the Dail sitting in the Convention Centre on the evening of July 15th gave the Irish Nation new momentum as 1000’s of Irish people turned up to protest against the governments draconian VaXX Passports.

As outlined in the Irish Mirror, up to 20 hours in advance of the protest, gardai at local level at a city centre station were warned of a possible disturbance to the Taoiseach being planned by protesters. Allegedly, protesters wanted to pull him from the car.

Reports that Taoiseach Micheal Martin was allegedly “shouted at” by a female protester while sitting in his State car outside the National Convention Centre in the early hours of July 15th have raised concerns for his safety.

Assistant Commissioner of the Dublin Metropolitan Region Anne Marie Cagney is now heading an investigation over the serious lapse in security.
