Over 1,300 pharmacies across the country are to begin administering the Covid-19 vaccine from today.
In a move to help assist the vaccine roll-out pharmacies will issue the Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 vaccine to people aged over 50 who haven’t already received a vaccine.
It is understood that the vaccines will be administered at pharmacies registered under the scheme.
The roll of the pharmacies is to assist with the roll-out of the vaccine to people who are considered to be quite a distance away from a vaccination centre.
