Authorities in Germany have confirmed that a pilot has died after two Eurofighter war planes collided in mid-air.
It is reported that the pilot died following the incident which occurred in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, near Laage military base on Monday.
German officials say the pilot was found dead on the ground after he and two other pilots ejected from the aircrafts.
Although the two other pilots survived the crash, officals say the man was found dead on the ground not far from the crash.
It is not yet known what caused the crash, but its believed that the fighter planes collided 20 minutes after take off.
Officals adedd that an investigation is currently ongoing.
