Planned strike action by fuel workers at Heathrow Airport called off

A planned strike action by fuel workers at Heathrow Airport has reportedly been called off.

A number of workers at Aviation Fuel Services (AFS) were due to down tools for three days, starting Thursday, but a late pay offer has been accepted.

Heathrow Airport has been plagued by staffing issues in recent weeks, leading to a controversial decision to cap passenger numbers at 100,000 per day until September at least.
