Police in the North have confirmed that two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an assault in West Belfast on Monday.
It is understood the arrests were made after a man aged in his 20s sustained head and facial injuries following an incident at a house in Glenbawn Avenue.
Police say two men aged 18 and 21 were arrested in connection with the incident which occurred at approximately 6am.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
