Police in Sweden have arrested a 70 year old woman after she allegedly held her son captive for almost 30 years.
According to Expressen, the woman was arrested after the man aged in his 40s was found at their apartment in Stockholm, on Sunday.
It is reported that the man who was found unable to speak and covered in sores was taken to hospital after being discovered by a relative.
The man was reportedly found after his mother was taken to hospital for treatment.
Officials investigating the incident say the man was found lying on a blanket in a room covered in dirt and smelled of urine.
It is believed that the man was taken out of school by his mother at the age of 12 and has been held captive for nearly three decades.
