Police in the UK have confirmed that they have foiled a potential terrorist plot after they arrested four men in Sheffield this morning.
According to Sky News the arrests come after British security services conducted a search of the property in Chesterfield which led to them to find an already assembled explosive device.
It is believed the four men were plotting to carry out the attack at some point over Christmas in the name of Islamic State.
Police say all three men aged 22, 31, 36 and 40 were arrested at the property which was targeted by police who also carried out raids on other properties in the area.
They also say a full extensive search will take place at the property with the bomb squad called in as a precautionary measure.
