POLL RESULTS: 55% of people don’t want compulsory vaccinations for Irish children

Last week it emerged that the Minister for Health Simon Harris is seeking legal advice on making vaccinations compulsory for all Irish children.

Many people feel that children are put at severe risk when they receive the likes of the measles jab or the controversial HPV vaccine.

We held a poll which saw a total of 11,700 people vote in. The question was a simple yes/no to whether you thought there should be compulsory vaccinations for Irish children.

The results finished with 55% of people voting No and 45% voting Yes.
