We’ll know later today just what the government’s plans are in relation to the draconian lockdown restrictions imposed on the Irish public since St Stephen’s Day.
It’s been the third and possibly hardest lockdown, but given NPHET and the government’s history, it mightn’t be the last.
We polled our readers on whether they’d like to see restrictions lifted from April 5th or not.
Over 6,000 people took the poll with 71% of people voting Yes that they’d like to see restrictions lifted from April 5th.
Whether the government will listen to NPHET or listen to the public is still anyone’s guess. The Taoiseach Micheal Martin will make an announcement later today in relation to what is or isn’t happening over the coming weeks.
