Communion time can be stressful and expensive, and many families may not be able to give their children all they need or want for the day.
A pop up shop to provide communion dresses for free to disadvantaged families will be set up in Dublin soon, in an attempt to relieve some of that stress.
The shop will be open at Edenmore Shopping Centre this Thursday and Friday, and the following weekend from Friday to Sunday.
Items will be given out for free, but people can make a donation to the Inner City Helping the Homeless (ICHH) if they wish.
