Professor Philip Nolan, chair of the National Public Health Emergency Team’s Irish Epidemiological Modelling Advisory Group has said that Ireland’s Covid-19 Reproductive number has fallen to 0.6.
Speaking at the National Public Health Emergency Team briefing Professor Nolan said that the country’s R number has reduced in recent weeks.
Nolan who also confirmed that there has been 20 hospital admission a day, told the briefing that Level 3 measures have stabilised numbers whilst the introduction of Level 5 restrictions have helped surpress the numbers even further.
