Finally Britain could have a Prime Minister with some real backbone on how to deal with extremism.
Potential new British Prime Minister Jeremy Hunt wants Jihadists to be be behind bars for the rest of their lives. He has intimated that anyone who is found to be betraying Britain by supporting terrorism will not see the light of day again.
He said that it’s one of the most ‘serious crimes a person can commit’, according to Telegraph, and that those found guilty of doing so, should spend life behind bars.
It’s understood that has plans to update treason laws and promised tough sentences not only for returning jihadist fighters, but also their supporters.
Hunt is in the running to become the new Tory leader and British PM and is up against Boris Johnson.
