Electricity has now been restored to all homes affected by last night’s explosion at an ESB substation, it has been confirmed.
The blast occurred at around 7:30 yesterday evening at the substation in Kylemore Way, Inchicore. The facility caught fire after the explosion.
No personal injuries were reported, as there was no personnel onsite at the time. The cause of the explosion has not yet been determined.
