US president Trump has slammed major social media outlets, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Google, saying they are under the control of the “radical left” and stated that his administration was “working to remedy this situation”.
The Leader of the Free World tweeted:
“The Radical Left is in total command & control of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Google. The Administration is working to remedy this illegal situation. Stay tuned, and send names & events. Thank you Michelle! https://twitter.com/af_clips/status/1261331113102004226…”
Included in the President’s tweet was a video in which American Conservative political commentator Michelle Malkin discussing the bias of Silicon Valley and their censorship of right-wing commentary.
Twitter later deleted the video the President had shared.
President Trump has spoken out before about the censorship of his supporters and conservatives in general by big tech social media companies, but it now appears as if his administration is preparing to take legal action against them on the issue.
