Everyone is grateful to the nurses and frontline staff who’ve been working throughout the coronavirus pandemic, but one known source has taken things a little further.

The village of Collon in County Louth has been plastered in posters specifically thanking all the nurses and frontline staff, claiming that we’re all fighting Covid-19 together.

Locals were amused but impressed to see the election-type posters erected overnight this week with no one knowing who paid for the posters and who put in all the effort.

One local told The Liberal:
“No one knows who erected the posters but the nurses deserve this kind of adulation. It’s nice for them to know that they’re appreciated.”
