President Trump continue to demand that Congress increases the stimulus to US Citizens from $600 to $2,000

US President Donald Trump has vetoed a $740 Billion Defence Bill and Covid relief bill demanding that a stimulus for American citizens be increased from $600 to $2,000 and that foreign aid such as $10 million for gender studies in Pakistan be removed.

Earlier this week President Trump vetoed the National defence Authorization Act (NDAA), however this is now setting up Congress to vote to override Trump and pass the bill without presidential approval. The bill passed both chambers of Congress with veto-proof majorities the Daily Wire reports.

President Trump announced last week that he would oppose the bill tweeting:

“I will Veto the Defense Bill, which will make China very unhappy. They love it. Must have Section 230 termination, protect our National Monuments and allow for removal of military from far away, and very unappreciative, lands. Thank you!”
