The 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, has announced that he has launched a class action lawsuit against the CEOs of tech giants Facebook and Twitter.
President Trump will sue Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg over his censorship on the platforms which enjoy special tax status in the United States so long as they remain free speech platforms and do not become politically partisan.
The America First Policy Institute, a group founded by Trump Administration alumni Brooke Rollins and Linda McMahon, and reportedly advised by Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump will spearhead the lawsuit.
The tech giants made no secret of their animosity towards Donald Trump from the time of his announcement of his candidacy for the Presidency, but the censorship of his supporters went into overdrive during his tenure and then he himself along with thousands of groups and individuals were banned following the Capitol disturbances on January 6th.
