US President Donald Trump is seriously considering placing migrants who attempt to cross the border illegally in so-called “sanctuary cities”.
“Sanctuary cities” are cities in the US that do not co-operate with Federal Authorities on immigration enforcement. Illegal aliens who commit crimes or seek medical or legal assistance will not be reported to the proper authorities in these Democrat municipalities.
As President Trump has attempted to stifle the flow of illegal migrants into the US he has been met with unremitting opposition from the Democratic Party.
The Democrats being the big government, welfare state party recognise that most illegal migrants who eventually become citizens or have natural born citizen “anchor babies” will invariably vote democrat.
The resulting demographic shift in the US population augurs well for those who wish to see American politics dominated by leftist and progressive democrats in the future.
Now the Trump administration has been in talks with Immigration and Control Enforcement to plan the transport of detained illegal migrants to sanctuary cities so they can then care and provide for them.
This has provoked outrage and shock from Democrats and celebrities who are no longer very keen on open borders when presented with the possibility that that their cities and neighbourhoods will be flooded with untold thousands of migrants.
