Price hike on the way for Sky and Vodafone customers this December as both companies say increases are needed to cover spiraling operational costs




It won’t be a happy Christmas for many Sky and Vodafone customers this year as both companies have confirmed they are set to introduce price increases this December.

The companies which have thousands of customers across Ireland say the latest round of price increases come as operational costs have spiralled out of control in recent months.

Sky who provide a number of services including satellite TV and home phone and broadband say customers will see a rise of €2 to €4 in their monthly bills beginning from December 1st.

Meanwhile one of the country’s biggest mobile phone and broadband operators Vodafone have also revealed that there will be a price increase for its customers this coming December.

Under the latest price hikes by the telecommunications giant confirmed thar customers who avail of their Simply Talk plan will see their bill rise by €10 from €30 to €40 per month, whilst Simply Broadband customers will see their bill rise by €7.

The comapny also say Home Unlimited customers will see their bills rise to €60 a month per month.
