According to new figures released today it is understood the Taoiseach’s department spent a whopping €12,000 on photographs in the first half of 2016.
It is believed that of the €12,000 shelled out from January to June, €4,500 was spent on pictures at the State Reception to mark Easter Sunday, whilst a further €3,000 was also spent photographs for the Easter Rising parade and wreath laying ceremonies at Kilmainham Gaol.
Meanwhile the figures also found that a further €780 was spent on photos for new cabinet ministers attending the Dáil for the first time after the general election.
The latest photography expenditure brings the total to €120,000 spent on photos since he took office back in 2011.
