All the signs are pointing towards Dublin Airport getting a third terminal.
It has emerged this evening that the Department of Transport has issued a Request for Tenders (RFT), which is one of the early stages of the formal tendering process.
Passenger numbers have continued to rise steadily at the facility, bringing about a case for a third terminal.
The airport is also set to have a new four-star hotel, which will be built next to Terminal 2.
