A primary school in Co Offaly has been closed after 23 Covid-19 cases were confirmed at the school.
It is understood that Scoil Bhríde, in Edendery, was forced to shut its doors following the outbreak.
The Department of Public Health Midlands have confirmed that they have identified the cases and close contracts involved.
It is understood that the school will remain closed until May 5th with classes being held online.
