A large group of Pro Life protesters took to the streets outside the National Maternity Hospital in Holles Street on New Year’s Day to protest abortions taking place in the hospital.
The group held a peaceful protest with placards. Some people were praying while others waved their placards as traffic went past.
One of the pro life protesters told The Liberal:
“We will never ever give up on defending the right to life of the unborn child. No exclusions will stop us, we will go to jail if we have to but we will never ever stop. There has got to be a voice for the unborn child”.
