Product recall: Retailer Iceland and Lidl recall products due to incorrect labelling

Retailers Iceland and Lidl have issued urgent recall notices for two products due to incorrect labeling, which may incur allergy risks.

Iceland has recalled its Takeaway 10 Garlic Slices product, due to the undeclared presence of milk, while Lidl is recalling Mister Choc Choco & Caramel bars with a “best before” date of January 2020. Some of these bars contain peanuts, which poses a potentially deadly risk for those allergic to nuts.

Any customers who may have purchased these products and are concerned about potential allergic reactions can return them to the stores for a full refund.
