Professor Philip Nolan has said third level students will return to a near normal college experience next month.
Speaking about the return of colleges and universities, Professor Nolan said it is a priority to gey students back on campus.
Although Nolan warned some measures such as mask wearing and social distancing will remain in place, he said it is important students who have been studying at home for the past 18 months return to classes.
However Nolan did say some online lectures will still have to take place especially when it comes to reduce the number of people on campus on a given day.
