The Taoiseach Enda Kenny has once again sidestepped any questions regarding his political future.
Mr Kenny who was speaking at a joint press conference with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Montreal last night, refused to answer any questions regarding his future after an Irish reporter pressured him on the matter.
According to reports Mr Kenny quickly dismissed any dismissed any question regarding his future by telling the reporter that “he could not believe that a reporter would travel that distance to ask him such a question.
The question which seemingly annoyed the current Fine Gael leader came after Mr Kenny previously indicated that he would deal with his political future in the wake of last weekend’s European Union summit.
It has been widely reported that Mr Kenny would step down after a number of Fine Gael TDs agreed there was no confidence in his current leadership role.
