PSNI officers have launched an investigation after a man was shot dead in Belfast overnight.
The incident happened in the Lenadoon Avenue area of west Belfast. It is understood that two men broke through the front door of a house and shot their target in front of his family.
The victim, believed to be a man in his late 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
