Pub operators propose a plan to be allowed to re-open six weeks ahead of schedule

Pub operators have reportedly proposed a plan to be allowed to re-open a full six weeks ahead of schedule.

Pubs are not meant to open until August, according to the Government-issued roadmap, but publicans have submitted a set of ideas that they hope will sway politician’s opinions.

These ideas include, among others, restricting the maximum number of people sitting around in table to six, no sitting, standing, or paying at the counter, and no live music.
