The public are being advised to proceed with caution this morning as strong winds caused by Storm Ciara are expected to batter the country.
The warning comes after a pedestrian was injured whilst walking in Crumlin on Saturday night.
It is understood that Dublin Fire Brigade were called out to assist the pedestrian after they were struck by a tree on Saturday evening.
However thankfully it is believed that they didn’t suffer any serious injuries following the incident.
It is expected that strong winds will continue this morning with Met Eireann issuing a yellow status snow, ice and wind warning.
