A sadistic father has admitted killing his 22-month old baby son while he was on drugs by leaving him along in a park to die.
51-yr-old Shane Arthur Simpson abandoned baby Baden Bond because he said that he was “tired of caring for him” and said that he’d hoped someone else would just take him.
Simpson, from Queensland, Australia, just left the child in the park, at night time and just walked away.
Aussie police have discovered that Dina Colleen Bond, the boy’s mother, lied about his disappearance for almost a decade before authorities realised Baden had never even seen a doctor or been enrolled in a school.
Baby Baden was left in a secluded park near the Logan River in Eagleby, south of Brisbane, in May 2007 but he was never reported missing until 8 years later.
His body has never been found and it is not known how the little boy died but authorities sadly believe that he is dead with just an outside chance that someone found him and minded him themselves.
Aussie police finally found out what happened when the boy’s parents and two other children moved interstate but Baden wasn’t registered with them.
According to Nine news, a prosecutor told the court on Monday March 4th 2019 that Simpson tapped the child on the head, said sorry, jumped into his car and just drove off leaving the baby by himself.
Simpson has pleaded guilty to manslaughter with the boy’s mother pleading guilty to two counts of accessory to manslaughter because of the lies she told.
They’re due to be sentenced in the coming weeks.
