Queen Elizabeth’s funeral will take place today as the United Kingdom will practically close down today with a given bank holiday to make the occasion.
The Queen will be laid to rest at Westminster Abbey at 11am this morning with a 2-minute silence planned at the end of the funeral that will be held across the United Kingdom.
September 19 will also become a bank holiday every year going forward.
