Met Eireann is today saying that weather will turn wet by the middle of this week, but conditions will likely take a turn for the better again by Friday.
According to the national forecaster, today, Monday, and tomorrow, Tuesday, will be mostly dry and sunny days, with temperatures reaching 19C at times.
Wednesday and Thursday look like wet days, particularly the latter, with heavy showers expected in western areas.
Friday is currently forecast to be a mostly bright and dry day, with temperatures of 17-18C.
