A well-organized gang of raiders burned two vehicles outside a garda station before stealing two ATMs in Dundalk overnight.
The raiders set two cars alight outside Dundalk Garda Station to create a distraction and makeshift barricade to hinder police response.
The criminals made off with the ATMs, which were taken from premises on Dundalk’s Main Street, and managed to cross the border into Northern Ireland following a garda pursuit.
The PSNI arrested a number of men in connection with this crime in Armagh this morning.
