Rapper Kanye West has embarked on a grandiose and messianic journey, announcing that he’ll run for president in 2024, and confirming that he intends to change his name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West, to make sure everyone becomes aware of how great and rich he is.
The bizarre move was seemingly sparked after Forbes declined to refer to the self-proclaimed ‘greatest artist of all time’ as a ‘billionaire’, despite him purportedly brandishing records to the contrary.
Kanye’s musical style has also shifted from mainstream to ‘Christian rap’. His latest album, Jesus is King, recently charted at the top of Christian music lists in the States.
Kanye’s dreams of grandiosity have so far been met with amused skepticism, however. In a recent event, the audience collectively burst out laughing after Kanye mentioned his intentions to become US President.
