Celtic Pure has issued an urgent recall notice for several batches of bottled water due to bacterial contamination.
Routine testing revealed the presence of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci, and E. coli bacteria. All three are potentially pathogenic.
Celtic Pure are sold at popular outlets such as Spar, Londis, Aldi, and Dunnes Stores. The company has been banned from selling any water products for the time being.
