Laundry liquid recalled due to excessive levels of a potentially hazardous chemical.
The product in question, Ecover Zero Non Bio Laundry Liquid 1.5 litres bottles, has been found to contain large amounts of potassium hydroxide, so much so that bottles might leak. The liquid might cause skin burns and severe eye irritation.
The product has been sold mostly in shops across Dublin, Athlone, Naas, and Portlaoise.
