Car manufacturer Mazda has issued an urgent recall notice for over 10,000 cars due to safety concerns.
The manufacturer issued a statement saying “A safety issue has been identified, whereby, it is possible that an accumulation of soot may cause the intake shutter valve to stick in the closed position. Under certain conditions and in the worst-case scenario, this could result in the engine stalling.”
The models affected are:
Mazda CX-5 (January 2012 – May 2018)
Mazda 3 (July 2013 – June 2018)
Mazda 6 (October 2012 – March 2018)
