Tesco has issued an urgent recall notice for one of its own-brand products due to fears of bacterial contamination.
The affected product is Tesco’s 80g 16 Spicy Chorizo Slices, with a use-by date of December 19, 2020. Health authorities say that some of these products might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, which can lead to serious disease in vulnerable people.
The retailer has posted point-of-sale notices in all its stores across Ireland.
