The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has issued an urgent recall notice for a children’s toy, due to a significant choking hazard.
The item in question is the Jelly Growing Sea Life Creatures expandable toy. The product contains 24 sea creatures that expand when in contact with water. If placed in the mouth after being in the water, the toy could lead to choking in small children.
It is understood that 55 units of this product were sold online to Irish customers via Amazon.
