Finally it appears that summer is actually here with temps hitting new highs over the past few days and days ahead with some luck.
Met Eireann is warning of the possibility of temperatures reaching 33C in some areas by Monday.
According to the national forecaster, the latest weather charts show a likelihood of temperatures rising from about 25-27C throughout Saturday and Sunday to the low 30s early next week.
A number of weather warnings might be issued over the coming days.
