Schools and colleges in Louth, Meath, Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow all remain closed.
Certain B roads are closed also.
Businesses and offices have shut their doors too.
This warning merits people to stay indoors for their safety and also to mind their elderly neighbours and property.
Met Eireann to update the country shortly again. Up to 20cm of snow is still to fall.
