In an emotional interview on last night’s Ray D’Arcy show, Reeva Steenkamp’s mother, June spoke about how she never even met Oscar Pistorius and how she missed her daughter and always believed they weren’t well suited.
The South African woman claims she doesn’t want revenge for her daughter’s murder, neither does she want Pistorius to suffer, she is just glad that just has been served.
She said that her family meet at a beach on Valentine’s day each year to mark the anniversary of Reeva’s death. This is where Reeva used to go for solace and peace.
Pistorius, the Paralympian champion is now serving an updated murder sentence in South Africa after he claimed to accidentally shoot his model girlfriend in their apartment’s bathroom allegedly mistaking her for a burglar on February 14th 2013.
